Eric Zyung and Gwen Sabo have their respective girls soccer teams in the same position on Friday - playing the host school for a regional championship. Zyung's CM Eagles will take the overall No. 2 sub-sectional seed into the title match of the Mattoon Class 2A Regional Tournament at 6 p.m. against No. 8 seed Mattoon, which comes into the game at 21-2-1. Mattoon is No. 14 in the latest MaxPreps Illinois Class 2A state rankings. Mississippi Valley Conference power Triad is No. 11, while 16-8 CM is unranked.
